EVREC
Botwood, Newfoundland and Labrador
EVREC is a mega-scale P2X project located on 300 sq. km of Crown Land in central Newfoundland, Canada. It will be one of the largest onshore wind projects in the world producing an estimated 160,000 tonnes of green hydrogen and approximately 1 million tonnes of 100% green-certified ammonia per year. With an estimated capex of 12 bn CAD and located in one of the stable G7 countries (making it highly financeable), EVREC is set to become a leader in the energy transition.

The Maldives is an independent island nation that extends more than 820 km in the north-central Indian Ocean. Solar City is a 100 MW floating solar and island reclamation project replacing 33% of the capital city’s power with green energy. Project Solar City will be the largest green energy project in the Maldives.

Abraxas has used its industry experience and strategic relationships to forge Tier-1 partnerships and develop impactful projects across North America, Asia, and Europe for the clean energy agenda.
In Europe, this means building a diverse portfolio of energy transition projects to enhance grid stability, storage solutions and green fuel production.
In Asia, we are pioneering one of the region's first large-scale P2X projects, drawing on insights gained from our work with EVREC to produce green fuels.
